Internship Details
During this internship you will be able to learn the art & craft of serving incredible 3rd wave coffee to customers. We serve coffee in all forms, from espresso’s to Iced Lattes (no frappes because that ain’t coffee). For Espresso we typically use a single origin medium roast from Novel Coffee Roasters.
For our equipment we have 2 group V3 Slayer Espresso Machine, an EK43 grinder for batch brew & cold brew and a Mahlkonig K30 for our espresso grinder along with a small Baratza Sette 30Wi.
We have a good rotation of coffee’s on our slow bar, typically a South/Central American offering paired with an East African as an option as well.
Duties include:
Serving Customers with a smile, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, keeping an area clean, stamping cups & sleeves, creating syrups (all of our flavors are house-made).
Treating and caring for equipment, while keeping up speed & efficiency to help the customer flow stay moving.
Learning about coffee & caring enough to keep the quality standards upheld. We use a refractometer & our tastebuds to constantly help us keep our coffee within specialty coffee standards.
